Local entrepreneurs and small business owners have several networking opportunities that are available each month.

On the fourth Tuesday of each month, MSBF affiliate the Clay County Economic Development Council co-sponsors a fun, networking event, The Lunch Connection.

Held at Trezo Mare in the Briarcliff Center, 4105 N. Mulberry Drive, Kansas City, the event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Also joining the event are co-sponsors the Riverside Chamber of Commerce and the Briarcliff Business Partner Alliance.

Participants pay for their own lunch, and RSVPs are requested to samuel.jones@commercebank.com.

On the third Thursday of each month, iWerx co-working office space sponsors a networking and learning happy hour, Cocktails & Collaboration. This networking and dialogue are free each month at iWerx, 1520 Clay St., North Kansas City.

iWerx is also home to the weekly Northland Coffee Connect, held from 7:45 to 9 a.m. each Wednesday. Northland Coffee Connect is a free, weekly networking and entrepreneurial support event, incorporating presentations by business owners who have inspiring stories to share with a diverse audience of mentors, advisers, and fellow business owners. Presenters and attendees are generally those interested in starting and growing businesses in Greater Kansas City's Northland, iincluding both Clay and Platte counties.
